Sunglasses I'm currently coveting...

If you know me well, then you know that I love (LOVE!) me some sunny sunglasses. I have a mini-collection. It's no Rachel Zoe fill-your-entire-closet-full-kinda-collection by any means, but I do indulge in nice shades from time to time. Nice sunglasses are like nice shoes....they go with everything, they feel heavy and expensive, and they make you invisible to mean people & bad days when you slip them on.

These geometric block Dita Eyewear sunnies make me giggle and twirl. Gwennie rocked them. Why can't I? Hmm, maybe because I just bought some dark and sultry Elizabeth & James frames and my wallet says, "sorry babe."

Neons

It seems everywhere I look lately I'm seeing a neon color palette. Personally, I can't pull off neon yellow pants, but I do love some of the other options....like the Jason Wu messenger bag. And the blinding platforms? Pretty amazing. However, the McQueen pinkies are my favorite. I need those in my closet for those days when you just feel spunky and need to kick some A.

Channeling Z. Deschanel

I have a little girl crush on Zooey Deschanel. Her wardrobe on the show New Girl makes me smile and want to go shopping immediately. Her looks are always interesting, fresh and modern, but also seem charmingly vintage. Of course the fact that her character is a total quirky, eccentric, fun girl who sings her thoughts and can't say the word 'penis' adds even more adorableness.
