I think Jackie's Really Cool

I am easily flustered in disagreeable situations.  Sometimes I wish I were someone more chic, more articulate, more sophisticated...someone less spastic. Someone like the cool and collected Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis.  She had poise, grace, charm and a legendary style.
I watched a History Channel special on Jackie's life last night and got immediately hooked.  I need more information.  As soon as I hit up Barnes & Noble for some biographies, we will really delve into the elegant life of Ms. Jackie O.
In the meantime, today, when you're stuck in traffic, fiddling with your new 'effing hands free device required by law, spilling coffee on your newly dry-cleaned white ruffly blouse...just stop. Ask yourself, "What would Jackie do?" Throw that ridiculous earphone in the floorboard. Toss the yucky coffee. Sit up straight.  Pull that pink pillbox hat out of the glove compartment, give a little friendly Miss America wave to that man picking his nose in the car next to you, and listen to your foreign language CD's.  Yeah.  That's right.  Learn some linguistics.  Did you know Jackie spoke French, Spanish and Italian??   Wow. You are cool, Jackie.
