Bag Love

Pretty bags for pretty Mondays! I'm slightly obsessed with that buttery grey Diesel bag. It seems as if I could put my whole world in there, including snacks. Oh, beautiful tiny purple lizard skin bag, I am so crazy about you. Really, dear bags, I'm kinda crazy about all of you. You, Ms. Minkoff, with your brilliant color blocking and contrasting leather and linen...that pointy hardware...you give me chills. Sea green Mermaid, you're a netty little number and I imagine you a drop of cheer to all those who meet you. Miss Topshop, your scallop-y edges give you such vintage flair! Oh, Lady Felix Rey, your kissy face and luscious lashes make me giggle. And you, Stella python, you are a sweet, sweet funky thang with that neon edging.

Love Interruption by Jack White

It's Friday. I have some wild energy. I'm currently loving the song Love Interruption by Jack White. It makes me want to get dressed, put on some red lipstick and do something bad. Not like change your world bad, but more like wear a tutu and carry a blood red python clutch and go flirt with the city like something fierce and hot. OH.Yeah. Take that! Happy Friday. Hope your weekend is hot and naughty and delicious.

to DO or to DON'T: White Blazer Edition

White blazers, I must admit, kinda scare me. I really don't sport blazers or anything menswear inspired. I'm quite petite and blazers tend to look a bit off on me. But these white jackets have me intrigued. I think I heart it. I think it's a to DO!!!

Anne Hathaway looks so funky and chic (don't even get me started on her sunnies!). The Elvis rocker tee definitely makes this look fun. Her tuxedo blazer is by Balmain.

And this gal looks rhetts for a day out in the city. Loving the pops of purple. Does she have a hang nail? I don't know. This breezy blaze is from Forever 21.

She's cute in a kind of messy way. I think she smokes cigarettes and talks trash a lot.

Very girly and well accessorized. This is one of my faves. The textured dress and the chunky jewels contrast nicely.

I have everything in this outfit minus the blazin' blazer. You could even swap out the black skinny pants for some dark denim and add some bright shoes for a little more punch. She looks ready for a martini.

YAY! Love this to pieces. Maybe it's partly my current obsession with neon, but this girl looks comfortable and different and totally herself. H&M blazer

Sunglasses I'm currently coveting...

If you know me well, then you know that I love (LOVE!) me some sunny sunglasses. I have a mini-collection. It's no Rachel Zoe fill-your-entire-closet-full-kinda-collection by any means, but I do indulge in nice shades from time to time. Nice sunglasses are like nice shoes....they go with everything, they feel heavy and expensive, and they make you invisible to mean people & bad days when you slip them on.

These geometric block Dita Eyewear sunnies make me giggle and twirl. Gwennie rocked them. Why can't I? Hmm, maybe because I just bought some dark and sultry Elizabeth & James frames and my wallet says, "sorry babe."

Neons

It seems everywhere I look lately I'm seeing a neon color palette. Personally, I can't pull off neon yellow pants, but I do love some of the other options....like the Jason Wu messenger bag. And the blinding platforms? Pretty amazing. However, the McQueen pinkies are my favorite. I need those in my closet for those days when you just feel spunky and need to kick some A.

Channeling Z. Deschanel

I have a little girl crush on Zooey Deschanel. Her wardrobe on the show New Girl makes me smile and want to go shopping immediately. Her looks are always interesting, fresh and modern, but also seem charmingly vintage. Of course the fact that her character is a total quirky, eccentric, fun girl who sings her thoughts and can't say the word 'penis' adds even more adorableness.
